Luminus LED’s Salud™ series is designed specifically for the human circadian rhythm, providing optimal MR ratios (melanopic/photopic ratios) for different times of day. By enhancing the cyan spectrum to suppress melatonin and strengthening the 660nm spectrum to achieve natural skin tone to provide warmer, more comfortable light, it offers lighting designers high melanopic lux without the need for 6500K or excessive lighting, allowing people to maintain health, focus, and vitality.

The Salud™ CCT-Tunable module inherits Salud™ LED R&D technology. At 5000K, it has an MR ratio of 0.97, helping to maintain focus and energy during the day; at 2200K, it has an MR ratio of 0.33, providing a relaxing environment at night, preparing the body for sleep. Users can adjust the light to any CCT between 5000K and 2200K through two independent control channels-5000K and 2200K-achieving a natural and smooth transition from day to night.

As the trend of healthy lighting gains increasing popularity, more and more public spaces are considering human health and well-being as key indicators in lighting design. Traditional lighting solutions only calculate horizontal illuminance; however, true human-centered lighting must also consider “vertical illuminance.” Luminus LED’s Salud™ CCT-Tunable module integrates Luminus’s years of human-centered LED lighting technology, easily meeting the high requirements of the WELL Building Standard (WBS) for melanopic lux in the vertical plane.
