The Luminus LUX COB series offers CRIs starting at 90 and 95, a variety of LES sizes available (4 to 22 mm), and a wide range of luminous flux and CCT.

A minimum CRI of 90 provides high-quality light with the same efficacy as an 80 CRI. This allows luminaire manufacturers to optimize demand and reduce the number of product models, thus reducing inventory and selection pressure.

The LUX COB series utilizes Current KSF narrow-band red phosphor technology, delivering excellent performance and light quality for a variety of lighting applications, including retail, residential, hospitality, architectural, museum, downlights, tracklights, and spotlights.

Luminus and Current Chemicals have signed a licensing agreement for KSF phosphors.
