Product Introduction

Following the launch of the SIP (1W~9W) and DIP24 (3W~20W) 8:1 ultra-wide input voltage MEAN WELL DC-DC Converter, we are now launching a new 1″×1″ package series of 10W, 15W, 20W, and 30W 4W models, widely applicable to power equipment, electronic instruments, communication equipment, industrial automation control, and IoT fields.

The new generation 8:1 series amplifiers accept an ultra-wide input voltage range of 9~75Vdc. Compared to the older generation, which was divided into various models with 2:1 or 4:1 specifications (9~18Vdc, 18~36Vdc, 36~72Vdc or 9~36Vdc, 18~75Vdc), the 8:1 series not only covers common 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc system voltages with a single 9~75Vdc amplifier, but also significantly simplifies model selection, reduces inventory items, and optimizes system design complexity.

Furthermore, to facilitate rapid upgrades to existing systems, the new and old generations are fully pin-to-pin compatible, allowing users to seamlessly switch to the new generation without altering the PCB layout. The main specification differences between the new and old generations are shown in the table below for selection and design reference.
