Z5M High-Power Series

Seoul Semiconductor has expanded its 3535 ceramic package high-power white LED product line to include the standard 160lm/W Z5M3 and the high-efficacy 172lm/W Z5M4 (CRI 70, 5000K). These LEDs can be used in applications such as streetlights, floodlights, wall washers, high pole lights, and stadium lighting.

LED packaging is rapidly evolving, with new products emerging constantly due to continuous innovation in packaging materials. Since its introduction, ceramic packaged LEDs have been renowned for their high performance and reliability. Over the past decade, they have witnessed the rise and fall of the LED lighting industry, with applications ranging from streetlights, downlights, spotlights, mining lamps, wall washers, floodlights, flashlights, and grow lights. Despite this, they remain a resilient leader in high-end lighting.

Seoul Semiconductor launched the ceramic-packaged Z5M3 and Z5M4 series in 2019 and 2020, respectively. These series have become the company’s flagship high-power white light products and have earned a strong reputation in the market.

Both the Z5M3 and Z5M4 series utilize Seoul Semiconductor’s proprietary Wicop flip-chip, gold-wire-free ceramic package. The Z5M3 excels with its cost-effectiveness and full color temperature range (1800K, 2200K, and 2700-6500K), while the Z5M4 is renowned for its leading luminous efficacy and reliable performance.
